In addition to the Campus Hazing Transparency Report, UC San Diego publishes its policies relating to Hazing prevention in the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, which is available at: https://www.police.ucsd.edu/docs/annualclery.pdf. Hazing statistics as defined by the Stop Campus Hazing Act will be first published in the October 1, 2026 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report.
Refer to PPM 200-28: Interim Hazing Prevention Procedures: https://adminrecords.ucsd.edu/PPM/docs/200-28.html for UC San Diego’s procedures relating to hazing prevention, reporting and response.
State laws relating to hazing can be found here: Stop Campus Hazing Act, Cal. Educ. Code Sec. 66305-66309. There are no applicable local or tribal laws regarding hazing.
The Center for Student Accountability, Growth, and Education (SAGE) works with the Center for Student Involvement and other campus partners on violations of University's Standards of Conduct by Student Organizations. Together we maintain a list of the Student Organization Case Status Summaries addressed within the last seven years.
We provide this information because we believe students and other student organizations should be able to make informed choices when pursuing ways to get involved on campus.
